Abstract
STUDI PERENCANAAN PEMASANGAN DAYA UNTUK KEBUTUHAN TOWER BTS ( Base Trancivier Station) \n \nABSTRAK \n \nBTS ( Base Transcivier Station ) merupakan salah satu bagian dari sistem telekomunikasi yang berupa antena atau pemancar yang menerima dan meneruskan sinyal dari operator seluler kepada pelanggan atau sebaliknya. Semakin banyak menara BTS semakin luas pula jangkauan sinyal yang dihasilkan dan semakin bagus sinyal yang dibutuhkan sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat dalam menggunakan jaringan telekomunikasi. Menambah atau membangun Menara BTS ini memerlukan suplai listrik yang handal sebagai sumber utamanya, Pemasangan daya untuk kebutuhan tower BTS diambil dari jaringan tegangan rendah yang khusus salurannya dari gardu distrbusi terdekat. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah mengetahui berapa daya yang dibutuhkan untuk tower BTS, dan mengetahui perancangan instalasi dan panel hubung bagi untuk tower BTS. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi lapangan, penentuan instalasi, penentuan jenis Pengaman, jenis penghantar dan daya yang dibutuhkankan untuk kebutuhan Toer BTS. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu lokasi tower BTS mendapat suplay listrik khusus dari gardu distribusi terdekat dengan memerlukan daya yang dibutuhkan sebesar 12643.8 VA, untuk daya yang terpasang pada tower BTS sebesar 16500 VA menggunakan pengaman 3 x 25 ampere.
