En esta obra colectiva se presentan los resultados del proyecto de excavación arqueológica en el área del circo romano de Cartago (Túnez), ejecutadas entre 2015 y 2017. Se hace un resumen del surgimiento de proyecto, del estado de la cuestión previo al inicio de las excavaciones, caracterizado por una larga historia de excavaciones antiguas en los alrededores del yacimiento, pero casi ninguna publicación de sondeos estratigráficos en el interior del mayor de los edificios de la Cartago romana, el segundo circo romano más grande del Imperio tras el circo máximo en Roma. Los sondeos A, B y C han hallado restos de época púnica, del Alto y Bajo Imperio romano, y reutilizaciones y expolios de época tardoantigua y medieval.
