Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar el efecto de la aplicación de estrategias de enseñanza y aprendizaje, para difundir y fortalecer el valor histórico y cultural de las Danzas Locos de San Isidro Labrador Lagunillas-Mérida. La investigación es de tipo cualitativa, de paradigma humanista y diseño etnográfico. Los participantes fueron estudiantes de educación básica, media y general, pública y privada, jóvenes y adultos de la comunidad en general (N=32), a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario de preguntas abiertas para diagnosticar sus intereses y necesidades, e implementar la ejecución de talleres como estrategia de enseñanza y aprendizaje, produciendo cambios significativos de conceptos y actitudes en los estudiantes y comunidad, reflejado en el manejo del lenguaje y cronología de hechos específicos y valoración de las danzas como patrimonio cultural.
