Abstract
J'aimerais profiter de cette opportunité pour remercier mon directeur de thèse, le Dr. Stephen Michnick, pour l'immense honneur qu'il m'a fait en acceptant que j'effectue mes études graduées sous sa supervision.Cet être exceptionnel, un peu extra-terrestre, brillant, tenace, excessif et passionné, est tout sauf ennuyant.Beaucoup d'éclats de rire, beaucoup d'affrontements (!), beaucoup d'amitié et de complicité et surtout un très grand respect mutuel ont peuplé notre relation et fait de cette étape de ma formation une période de ma vie particulièrement enrichissante.J'aimerais aussi remercier mon père Fernand et ma mère Gyslène pour leur soutien constant et indéfectible, mais surtout pour leur confiance et leur amour qui m'ont permis de passer à travers les hauts (souvent très hauts!) et les bas (souvent très bas!) qui sont presque toujours l'apanage des études graduées.Un merci tout particulier à ma soeur Yseult qui a toujours été pour moi un modèle d'honnêteté et d'intégrité, et pour qui j'ai une admiration infinie.Finalement, je tiens à remercier mes collègues de travail, les membres du laboratoire du Dr. Stephen Michnick, pour leur amitié et leur joie contagieuse.J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'atmosphère stimulante et enjouée, parfois explosive, qui régnait dans le laboratoire.Un gros câlin à Alexis, pour avoir si bien su me comprendre, et tous mes hommages à Joelle, ma complice des premières années.xi
