Analyse de profils d'impulsivité au sein d'une population de joueurs de jeux en ligne

Abstract
Ce mémoire s’intéresse aux conduites problématiques liées à l’utilisation d’internet, plus particulièrement dans le cas de jeux en ligne massivement multi joueur. Afin d’étudier le profil d’impulsivité de ces joueurs, nous leur avons fait passer une batterie de questionnaires visant à mieux cerner les traits communs entre ces individus. En effet, le « trouble du jeu en ligne » (ou « Internet gaming disorder ») a été récemment inclus comme trouble à part entière au sein de la dernière itération du DSM, le DSM V. Les critères proposés dans le DSM ne font cependant pas l’objet d’un consensus au sein de la communauté scientifique. Un des objectifs du présent mémoire a été de recruter une population de joueurs en ligne et de déterminer si oui ou non ces critères peuvent être considérés comme pertinents ou complets.
