El Bisfenol-A es un disruptor endocrino de actividad estrogénica utilizado en la industria de los plásticos, incluidos algunos envases de uso alimentario, por lo que puede migrar al alimento. Dado que la mayor exposición se produce por vía alimentaria, en este trabajo se ha realizado una evaluación de riesgo en población española considerando el escenario de exposición más probable basado en la encuesta nacional de ingesta dietética española (ENIDE) y el escenario de exposición máxima razonable basado en consumo de conservas. Para dicha evaluación de riesgo se han aplicado los criterios de seguridad admitidos por la autoridad europea de seguridad alimentaria (EFSA) así como los recientemente propuestos por la agencia francesa de seguridad alimentaria, medioambiente y trabajo (ANSES).
