En este capítulo se presentan nuevos datos isotópicos de restos óseos humanos y faunísticos provenientes de sitios arqueológicos de la entidad arqueológica Goya-Malabrigo localizados en el Delta del río Paraná. Estos estudios se realizaron en el marco de un convenio de cooperación con los laboratorios de isótopos de la University of Cape Town (Ciudad del Cabo, Sudáfrica). El objetivo del trabajo es ampliar los análisis isotópicos que se vienen desarrollando en el Delta del Paraná, con el fin de profundizar en el conocimiento de la dieta de los individuos que ocuparon el área bajo estudio en tiempos prehispánicos. Para cumplir con este objetivo se presentan los resultados de los estudios de isótopos estables de carbono y de nitrógeno realizados sobre huesos humanos y de la fauna aprovechada para la subsistencia. A su vez, se comparan estos resultados con los obtenidos de entierros humanos en sitios guaraníes del área. Los valores medios del conjunto Goya-Malabrigo confirman las tendencias ya observadas y muestran una alimentación basada en recursos terrestres C3 y peces de agua dulce.
