Abstract
Face aux enjeux de qualité de vie et de santé des populations environnantes, mais aussi \nde planification urbaine et d’étalement urbain, il est primordial d’évaluer les niveaux de \npollution atmosphérique autour des axes routiers majeurs de l’île de Montréal. Par \nconséquent, les objectifs principaux du projet de recherche sont : \n▪ Évaluer les niveaux de concentration des polluants atmosphériques autour des \naxes majeurs du réseau routier de l’île de Montréal. \n▪ Poser un diagnostic portant sur les concentrations de polluants atmosphériques, \nprovenant principalement du transport routier (NO2, CO, PM2,5 et PM10), d’une \nvingtaine de sites localisés sur le territoire de l’île de Montréal, dans les secteurs \ncomprenant des usages résidentiels, institutionnels et récréatifs, et situés en \nbordure des axes routiers gérés par le Ministère. Pour ce faire, cet objectif principal \nest décliné en trois objectifs spécifiques décrits ci-après.
