Abstract
Avec une consommation concentrée en Europe et aux États-Unis qui ne cesse de croître, la banane biologique surfe sur une vague inédite, liée à l'explosion de la consommation mondiale de produits alimentaires biologiques. Malgré une pression grandissante sur les prix et de fortes contraintes en production, l'engouement des producteurs reste important, la banane biologique représentant encore une alternative à haute valeur ajoutée. Toutefois, le système est en mutation, le recours à la double certification Bio-Fairtrade est de plus en plus adopté pour assurer un maintien de la rentabilité.
