La Caisse d'économie des travailleuses et travailleurs (Québec) n'est pas une caisse comme les autres. À tout le moins pas tout à fait comme les autres: sa vitalité économique (sa "rentabilité" comme on dit!) est dans la moyenne supérieure et son utilité sociale fortement démontrée dans le texte qui suit. La Chaire de recherche en développement communautaire a soutenu le projet de recherche de Joël Lebossé en collaboration avec d'autres (le groupe de recherche PROFONDS) car il fallait en savoir plus sur sa véritable portée et les conditions de sa réussite. Pour tous ceux et celles qui sont des artisans du développement communautaire, l'expérience de cette caisse d'économie (membre de la Fédération des caisses d'économie Desjardins), expérience qui dure depuis 25 ans, est du plus grand intérêt car cette caisse se nourrit et nourrit tout à la fois le développement communautaire et l'économie solidaire. Elle ne fait que cela...et elle n'assure sa rentabilité économique et son utilité sociale que par cela: le développement communautaire et l'économie solidaire. On verra que le présent texte le démontre bien.
