Esta investigación se realizó de enero a agosto de 2019, enfocada en el reconocimiento del conflicto académico entre alumnos y docentes en el Colegio Provincia de Quebec IED, frente al cual se planteó una construcción participativa de alternativas para su transformación, en particular en los estudiantes de los cursos 6º y 7º jornada tarde. La consecuencia de los conflictos académicos se puede observar en el aumento de la deserción escolar y la movilidad hacia otras instituciones educativas públicas de la localidad. Desde el punto de vista teórico la lectura de los conflictos académicos se hizo utilizando los postulados de Pierre Bourdieu, sobre teoría de los campos, y Jacques Rancière, sobre emancipación educativa. Partiendo de una perspectiva dialógica, horizontal y no autoritaria en el proceso académico. Dentro de una metodología de Investigación Acción Participativa, para el diagnóstico preliminar se utilizó la técnica ancestral del tejido de palabra con los docentes de básica secundaria, los estudiantes de los cursos 601, 701, y 702 y los padres de familia de estos cursos de la jornada tarde. Con esta técnica se indagó en torno a los factores relacionado con los conflictos académicos tales como la metodología docente, la pertinencia del currículo, el debido proceso en la resolución de conflictos académicos, la evaluación objetiva, la desmotivación estudiantil, y las causas del traslado de estudiantes a otros colegios.
