Aquest treball analitza l’estat de la connectivitat ecològica i paisatgística del Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, un espai natural protegit caracteritzat per estar envoltat d’una complexa realitat socioeconòmica. Per analitzar l’estat de la connectivitat ecològica s’utilitzen una sèrie de variables territorials que són classificades i ponderades segons la qualitat que posseeixen de facilitar o no la dispersió de les espècies que ha donat com a resultat aquelles zones més òptimes per a la connexió dels dos polígons en què es divideix el Parc. Pel que fa a la connectivitat paisatgística s’utilitzen una sèrie d’indicadors que han calculat com s’ha transformat el paisatge en el període 1993-2009 i com han afectat aquests canvis a la connectivitat del paisatge, estretament unida a l’ecològica. Amb els resultats d’aquests anàlisis s’han obtingut les fortaleses i debilitats de la connectivitat en aquest Parc i s’han redactat aquelles possibles solucions de cares al futur.
