14,5 x 21, 5Apenas necesita presentación la nueva edición que las ediciones Desclée han realizado en 1987 de la obra del Cardenal Journet.Es un libro bien conocido en el mundo teológico y en la enseñanza académica.Por ello, nos limitamos aquí a hacernos eco de esta nueva edición.Esta Théologie de l'Eglise, aparecida en 1957, era el fruto del deseo del autor de hacer accesible el contenido de su monumental obra L'Eglise du Verbe Incamé, aparecida a lo largo de los años de la postguerra europea.Como el propio autor manifestaba en el prólogo a la Théologie de l'Eglise, esta segunda obra nacía con la finalidad de ayudar a aquellos lectores "faltos de tiempo libre, y pobres incluso de dinero", a quienes podía parecer inabordable su gran tratado eclesiológico.Así surgió este resumen de las principales conclusiones y tesis que el teólogo suizo ofrecía en sus tres volúmenes sobre ' la Iglesia.La Theologíe de l'Eglise de Journet ya se ha convertido en un clásico de la eclesiología.De ella se sirvieron muchos de los asistentes al Concilio Vaticano II.Ahora, a los 15 años de la muerte del cardenal Journet, mantiene vigente su valor.Así lo entienden los propios editores que ponen de nuevo al alcance del público actual su riguroso pensamiento, y el profundo amor a la Iglesia que late en sus escritos.
