Abstract
Since Brazilian literature is still very little known outside of Brazil-for reasons which will not be dealt with in this article-it seems necessary to provide some information about Dinah Silveira de Queiroz.For the last forty years she has occupied a prominent place among Brazilian writers of fiction.
