En este artículo se discute la dinámica de interacciones moleculares, de nanopartículas y bio-estructuras en base a fuerzas de interacción no-covalentes. En este sentido se desarrolló la participación de simples interacciones no-covalentes a partir de átomos, grupos funcionales de moléculas individuales y densidades electrónicas generadas por variaciones en las estructuras químicas involucradas. Estas interacciones pueden trascender sobre nanosuperficies de manera de producir variables estados de agregación y generación de nuevas nanoestructuras. De manera similar, la constitución química de bio-superficies controla las interacciones de estructuras biológicas en la micro-escala. Al igual que la interacción de moléculas individuales sobre biomembranas activan cascadas de señales y modificaciones estructurales con impacto en dimensiones superiores a la nano-, y microescala con impacto en el normal funcionamiento de células y órganos biológicos. Es por ello que en base al diseño y síntesis de estructuras químicas con propiedades electrónicas definidas permiten la construcción de bloques individuales constituyentes de estructuras químicas de orden superior tales como nanopartículas y nano-bioestructuras con alto potencial impacto en biotecnología. Así, se discutieron métodos espectroscópicos estáticos y resueltos en el tiempo, métodos en flujo, microscopía y diagnóstico por imágenes, láseres pulsados, entre otras técnicas de avanzada actualmente en desarrollo. Además, se discutieron brevemente las principales estrategias y métodos para el diseño y síntesis de: i) nuevas moléculas, super-moléculas, agregados moleculares, complejos supramoleculares y sistemas supramoleculares; ii) nanopartículas, nanocompositos, y nanomateriales con diferentes nanoarquitecturas; y iii) bio-estructuras naturales y sintéticas modificadas, etc. La discusión de las diferentes temáticas fue en función del control de los principales parámetros a tener en cuenta para la fabricación de sistemas fotónicos, nanofótonicos, biofotónicos y su incorporación en dispositivos portátiles tales como microprocesadores o chips. Finalmente, perspectivas futuras y estado del arte fueron expuestas.
