Abstract
During the 14th century, and until 1409, the Jewish community in Tarazona was governed by custom, regulations and royal edicts, which its communal authorities, aldermen and economic officials, applied with greater or lesser success. Until now, general ordinances for this community were unknown, except for those granted by Queen Maria of Castile, some of which were published in 1918 by Serrano Sanz. For this reason, it is opportune to publish and analyse those ordinances which in 1409 and 1413 were granted by the widow Queen Violant of Bar, and to further examine those of 1420, to which relatively little attention has been paid.
