Abstract
Die Abruffütterung stellt ein neues Fütterungsverfahren für Sauen in Gruppenhaltung dar. Die wesentlichsten Kennzeichen sind die Haltung von Sauen in relativ großen Gruppen sowie eine Erweiterung des Tier:Freßplatz-Verhältnisses auf bis zu 50:1. Dieses neue Haltungs-/ Fütterungssystem wird in seinen Auswirkungen auf das Verhalten der Sauen mit dem bisherigen Standardverfahren, der Einzelhaltung, und der Gruppenhaltung mit Einzelfreßständen (Tier:Freßplatz 1:1) verglichen und bewertet. Darüber hinaus werden Ansatzpunkte für eine Verbesserung der Gruppenhaltung mit Abruffütterung erarbeitet.
