Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract. This paper describes the development of a classroom-strategy based on “meaningful learning”, in order to improve the learning of concepts involved in the study of materials in gaseous state. The proposal was supported on a set of preconceived ideas obtained at the public school La Estancia-San Isidro Labrador, located at Ciudad Bolivar, Bogotá D.C. Taking into account the above-mentioned, a teaching unit for the study of properties of gases, starting from integrating that concepts of pressure, volume, gas laws and gas exchange into respiration was made, also linking the biological, physical and chemical processes by using the deep diving as an interesting real-life situation. Applying a pre-test to analyze the previous knowledge of students, the requirement of suggesting an effective conceptual change-focused pedagogical strategy was revealed. This strategy was founded on meaningful learning and built on the deep diving, a sport activity very attractive due to the several concepts involved

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
