Evaluar y sintetizar la evidencia disponible sobre la asociación entre la exposición laboral a computadoras y el riesgo de desarrollar síndrome del túnel carpiano (STC). Material y Métodos: Se realizó una revisión sistemática siguiendo las guías PRISMA 2020. La búsqueda incluyó bases de datos electrónicas (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, EMBASE y medRxiv) utilizando términos relacionados con el uso de computadoras y STC. Se seleccionaron estudios observacionales que cumplieron con criterios predefinidos de inclusión y se evaluó el riesgo de sesgo mediante la escala de Newcastle-Ottawa. Los datos se analizaron mediante metaanálisis de efectos aleatorios, reportando odds ratios (OR) con intervalos de confianza (IC) al 95%. Resultados: De 155 estudios identificados, 7 cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, abarcando un total de 3058 participantes en el grupo expuesto y 6456 en el grupo control. El metaanálisis mostró un OR combinado de 1.64 (IC 95%: 0.97– 2.76, p = 0.06) con alta heterogeneidad (I² = 79%). El análisis de sensibilidad, basado en 5 estudios, reveló un OR de 2.31 (IC 95%: 1.74–3.07, p < 0.00001) con heterogeneidad moderada (I² = 30%), confirmando una asociación significativa entre la exposición prolongada y el STC. Conclusiones: La exposición prolongada a computadoras es un factor de riesgo significativo para el desarrollo de STC. Los resultados destacan la necesidad de intervenciones preventivas en entornos laborales que requieren uso intensivo de computadoras
