Abstract
Chers amis,\nLa présente est pour vous inviter à participer aux activités d’un nouveau sous-comité de la Société historique du Canada, le Comité d’histoire des médias et de la communication (CHMC). Notre groupe, officiellement mis sur pied lors de la dernière réunion annuelle de la SHC, existe depuis déjà quelques années et a notamment organisé des colloques sur l’histoire des médias au Canada en mai 2006 et en novembre 2008. Nos activités ont jusqu’à présent attiré de nombreux chercheurs anglophones et francophones. Nous sommes particulièrement fiers de cette participation diversifiée et nous comptons poursuivre dans cette voie.
