Abstract
50 years ago Edward Yoder moved from south-western Pennsylvania to Harford County to become part of our agricultural community. Mr. Yoder worked with local dairy farmers to increase their milk yields and, later, as one of two Pioneer Seed salesmen in the county. Mr. Yoder is active in community affairs in general and particularly the Republican party. Over the years, he has seen voter registration in Harford County change from a 4 or 5:1 democratic majority to being just about equal. His recollections include the Ma &amp Pa train station in Highland, the old Street post office, Highland Commons, and Snodgrass Chevrolet. He was interviewed by Doug Washburn on July 12, 2005.
