Abstract
Kerry Goulet, also known as "Mr. Eishockey" in Germany, had a successful career in ice hockey, ball hockey, and coaching. After playing in the Canadian Ball Hockey Association and winning championships, he played for 16 seasons in the German 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Divisions, earning the honor of having his jersey retired. Goulet later became a coach with an impressive record and dedicated his efforts to charitable causes, particularly raising awareness about concussions and spinal cord injuries in sports. He co-founded StopConcussions and the Shoot For a Cure campaign, aiming to educate and support athletes, parents, and coaches. Goulet also developed a prevention program called Safe4Sports, adopted by the German Ice Hockey Federation and Ice Hockey Australia, and organized the Australian Ice Hockey Classic as a fundraising event.
