Abstract
Les Inuit du Nunavik ont vécu des changements socio-économiques radicaux depuis la fin des années 1950. Les processus de sédentarisation et de scolarisation ont eu un impact sur les modes de transmission inuits des savoirs. Ce mémoire de maîtrise porte sur l’impact de ces processus sur la tradition orale du Nunavik et présente une étude de cas menée dans le village de Kangiqsualujjuaq. Cette recherche qualitative de terrain analyse les genres d’histoires répétées jusqu’à aujourd’hui par les Kangiqsualujjuamiut et explore les changements dans les contextes de transmission et en observe l’émergence de nouveaux. _____________________________________________________________________________ MOTS-CLÉS DE L’AUTEUR : tradition orale, Nunavik, Inuit, transmission, unikkaatuat, sédentarisation, scolarisation
