Joustava suomen kielen ohjaus ja integrointi täydennyskoulutukseen toi hyviä tuloksia

Abstract
SIMHE-polku-ESR-hankkeessa kehitettiin täydennyskoulutusta ja nopeampia työllistymispolkuja ulkomailla korkeasti koulutetuille osaajille. Täydennyskoulutuksen rinnalle kehitettiin suomen kielen tukea helpottamaan opintoja ja työnsaantia. Tarve ilmeinen, sillä työllistyminen omaa koulutusta vastaaviin töihin kaatuu usein puutteelliseen kielitaitoon. \n \nKohderyhmän taustat ja kielitaito ovat moninaiset, joten suomea toisena kielenä eli S2-puhujille kehitettiin tukea tarvelähtöisesti koko koulutuspolun ajan. S2-ohjaus integroitiin täydennyskoulutuksen ja työnhaun yhteyteen. Hakijat saivat henkilökohtaista ja ryhmäohjausta. Lisäksi järjestettiin kielikahviloita ja työhaun ja suomen kielen työpajoja. Kokeiluista syntyi täydennyskoulutukseen integroidun suomen kielen ohjauksen malli ja Työssä Suomessa ja suomea toisena kielenä -moduulit tukemaan osaamisen täydentämistä ja työllistymistä. Myös kielikahvilat opinnollistettiin, jolla S2-puhujan suurempi työmäärä ammattialan sisältöjen oppimiseen otettiin huomioon. \n \nIntegroidulla S2-ohjauksella saatiin kokeilussa hyviä tuloksia. Osuvalla ohjauksella oman ammattialan täydentäviä opintoja saattaa suorittaa jo kotoutumiskoulutuksen aikana, mikä luo pohjan nopeuttaa korkeasti koulutettujen työllistymistä omalle alalle. Ohjaus on investointi, jolla saadaan oppimiseen laatua, joten siihen kannattaa panostaa.
