Bu sayıdaki ilk kitap tanıtımı İsmail Altınöz’e aittir. Altınöz, 21-24 Aralık 2009 tarihleri arasında Gaziantep Üniversitesi, Başbakanlık Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü - Gaziantep Vakıflar Bölge Müdürlüğü, Halep Üniversitesi ve Halep Vakıflar Müdürlüğü İşbirliği ile düzenlenen Uluslararası Antep-Halep Vakıfları Sempozyumu’nun üç cilt halinde kitaplaştırılan, Uluslararası Antep-Halep Vakıfları Sempozyumu Bildirileri (I-II-II, Sempozyum Koordinatörü: Yrd. Doç. Dr. İsmail Altınöz, Gaziantep Üniversitesi-Gaziantep Üniversitesi Vakıflar Bölge Müdürlüğü Yay., İstanbul 2014, 862 s.) isimli sempozyum bildiri kitabını tanıtmıştır. Miyase Koyuncu Kaya, “Vakıf Gelirlerine Bir Örnek” başlığı altında, Özen Tok’un XIX. Yüzyıl Ortalarında Kayseri Vakıflarının Arazi Gelirleri, başlıklı kitabını; Hasan Demirtaş ise Sedat Baykaral’ın Hurûfât Defterleri’nde Isparta Kazâsı, Târihî Eserler, Köyler, Mahalleler, Meslekler isimli kitabını tanıtmışlardır. Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından her sene bir tema üzerinden kutlanan Vakıflar Haftası’nın bu seneki teması “Vakıf ve Sanat” idi. Bu etkinlikler kapsamında 12 Mayıs 2015 tarihinde Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü Konferans Salonunda “Vakıf ve Sanat” konulu bir panel düzenlenmiştir. Bu panelde sunulan bildiriler ve izlenimler Ahmet Kılıç tarafından kaleme alınmış ve sizlerle paylaşılmıştır.
