Abstract
Les cimetières patrimoniaux au Québec possèdent un riche héritage. Ce travail veut montrer l'éventail des activités de médiation dans ces lieux. La recherche de ce projet se veut de nature fondamentale et exploratrice. Afin de mieux cerner le sujet, un historique des cimetières au Québec, de leur patrimonialisation ainsi que les particularités de leur patrimoine funéraire sont retracés. Par l'observation, tant physique que virtuelle, de 14 cimetières patrimoniaux, urbains et ruraux, un inventaire des activités de médiation culturelle se dessine. Pour conclure, les résultats et l'analyse des informations recueillies soulignent les enjeux des cimetières patrimoniaux, l'historiographie de leur médiation et les réflexions sur les outils de médiation utilisés.
