Cette étude repose sur dix ensembles céramiques issus de cinq fouilles dans le centre urbain de Valentia et deux fouilles d’établissements ruraux en périphérie de la ville. Elle permet de mieux cerner, pour la période entre la fin du IIe s. et le Ve s., la question de l’approvisionnement de ce secteur de la moyenne vallée du Rhône, en particulier les liens privilégiés avec les ateliers de Grimpeloup et Amour-de-Dieu, sur la rive droite du Rhône sur la commune de Saint-Péray (Ardèche). Les comparaisons entre le marché urbain et celui des campagnes de Valentia sont également évoquées ainsi que l’influence prédominante de la Gaule méditerranéenne sur le répertoire morphologique.
