Abstract
Ce mémoire en recherche-création a pour but de penser nos rapports affectifs avec l’environnement, en s’intéressant plus spécifiquement aux pôles de l’enchantement et de la peur. Le volet création, sous la forme d’un roman, montre Montréal envahie par des figures folkloriques qui représentent les facettes de notre crise écologique. Des récits s’établissent autour de ces apparitions, par lesquels la communauté arrive à faire sens de la menace environnementale. Les diverses sections de l’essai explorent, quant à elles, une sélection de médiations littéraires et philosophiques de l’environnement. Ce faisant, elles cherchent à esquisser un imaginaire ontologique qui, d’une part, provoquerait un dialogue entre les formes du vivant, et d’autre part, cultiverait une disposition affective écologique. \n_____________________________________________________________________________ \nMOTS-CLÉS DE L’AUTEUR : crise écologique, imaginaire, enchantement, peur, fiction spéculative, nouveaux matérialismes, folklore, spiritualité.
