No Canadian affiliation. An affiliation-only frame, the usual design, would never have seen this work. It is one of the works that make the case for inverting the frame.

Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract. A documentary research which general objective is to determine the influence of the current situation and the political context of the nurse-to-patient ratio in health services quality, is hereby presented. Different kinds of informative and research texts about the current situation and political context regarding the nurse-to-patient were consulted in both English and Spanish. A state of the art between 2000 and 2009 was used, consulting different data bases and also nursing and health magazines. There is a close relation among the high nurse-to-patient ratio and the morbimortality increase, the nosocomial infections and several complications that increase the patients’ stay in the different hospital services. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States there is an evident struggle to get an approval of the nurse-to-patient ratio legislation. As a conclusion it is evident the negative influence that a high nurse-to-patient ratio has with the quality of health services. A research is suggested for Colombia with the purpose of having a legislation that rules the nurse-to-patient ratio in hospitals.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
