Abstract
Livre pour la jeunesse co-créé avec les élèves de l'école d'Ivujivik (Nunavik, Québec) à partir d'un récit traditionnel inuit. L’ île aux morses. ᑐᑦᔮᑦ. Tutjaat. Pour célébrer l’anniversaire de leur grand-mère, Lucassie et Siaja souhaitent lui offrir des cadeaux inoubliables. Cap sur Tutjaat, l’île aux morses ! Ce récit pour la jeunesse, inspiré d’une histoire orale inuite, a été coécrit et illustré par des élèves de l’école Nuvviti lors d’un atelier à Ivujivik au Nunavik. Il se penche sur la préparation de l’ingunaq, le morse faisandé, en relatant un voyage en mer entrepris pour que se perpétue cette tradition culinaire dans la communauté d’Ivujivik, le village le plus au Nord du Québec.
