Abstract
Cet essai a comme objet l’interculturalisme québécois. Je m’attarde particulièrement au rôle du secteur de l’éducation dans la structuration de la tradition québécoise en matière d’interculturalisme, J’analyse tour à tour la genèse ainsi que la prise de décision de cette politique publique. En d’autres termes, j’étudie le rôle central du secteur de l’éducation dans la réflexion québécoise en matière de gestion de la diversité. Afin de réaliser ces objectifs, le Rapport Parent, le Rapport Chancy ainsi que les politiques linguistiques et d’intégration successives adoptées par le gouvernement du Québec sont décortiqués afin de mettre en lumière non seulement les éléments normatifs de l’interculturalisme, mais également la mise en place active de ce modèle du vivre ensemble par l’État québécois. \n_____________________________________________________________________________ \nMOTS-CLÉS DE L’AUTEUR : éducation interculturelle, interculturalisme, Québec, politique d’intégration, politique linguistique
