Abstract
En 5 ans à peine, dans une MRC rurale de 20 367 habitants, le CLD Papineau est devenu une organisation structurante campée sur les besoins du territoire. C'est du moins l'un des constats qui se dégage de cette monographie qui étudie l'évolution et les enjeux du CLD à travers cinq grands thèmes : 1) les conditions d'implantation du CLD; 2) le rôle du CLD dans la gouvernance locale et la dynamique entre les acteurs du développement local impliqués sur le territoire; 3) les outils de développement et les ressources humaines et financières; 4) les activités, les services et la mission; 5) l'évaluation des principales retombées du CLD et son efficacité. Cette étude s'insère dans un projet de recherche qui a pour objectif d'étudier les CLD dans une dizaine de régions du Québec. La comparaison interrégionale mènera à la publication d'un ouvrage collectif qui tracera l'itinéraire des CLD.
