Abstract
Het deelrapport beschrijft de wiskundige uitwerking, via lineaire programmering, van de optimalisering van plaats en grootte van grondwateronttrekkingen in een gebied bij gegeven behoeften aan water. De kosten van winning, zuivering, transport en landbouwschade worden in rekening gebracht. Natuurwaarden zijn door beperkingen van de verlagingen van de stand van het ondiepe grondwater gerepresenteerd.
