Abstract
« Les changements climatiques représentent un des plus grands défis de l’histoire de l’humanité. Ils remettent en cause le droit à la santé, qui est un droit fondamental de l’être humain (OMS et Santé Canada, 2021). Selon l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS), les changements climatiques causeront, d’ici la fin de la décennie actuelle, 250 000 décès supplémentaires par an, en lien avec la malnutrition, le paludisme, la diarrhée et le stress thermique (OMS, 2014). Dans ces conditions, la mise en place de mesures d’adaptation en santé publique s’avère prioritaire si l’on veut protéger la santé et le bien-être de la population. Cela passe notamment par la conception de plans nationaux d’adaptation (PNA) pertinents et efficaces (Convention-cadre des Nations unies sur les changements climatiques, 2015). [...] »
