Abstract
Dans un contexte de santé dominé par la promotion de la santé, les Ateliers Santé Ville (ASV) ont vus le jour en 1999 initiés par le comité interministériel des villes. Les AVS peuvent être définis comme lieu de concertation, d échanges de pratiques, de mise en réseau et d élaboration de projets locaux de santé publique à l échelle d un quartier. La première partie rappelle, dans un premier temps, les valeurs transmises par la charte d Ottawa, texte fondateur de la promotion pour la santé. La promotion de la santé est le point de départ de toute action en santé et notamment dans le secteur bucco-dentaire qui s en inspire avec la mise en place du projet MT dents (2007) qui est une réussite. Dans un second temps, nous abordons la communication sous son angle théorique puis méthodologique pour nous donner tous les moyens de communiquer en santé et donc pour faire en sorte que toutes les actions initiées en santé soient un succès. La seconde partie est consacrée aux ASV en France et particulièrement, au développement de l ASV du Lac, axé sur la prévention bucco-dentaire, qui implique la participation d acteurs issus de la faculté d odontologie Bordeaux II.
