Abstract
[es] Es nuestro propósito demostrar que los vascos estaban ya presentes en Canadá a la llegada de S. de Champlain a las aguas de Grande-Baie, así como a las del río Saint-Laurent. Para ello hemos estudiado las Oeuvres de Champlain publicadas por Éditions du Jour, Montréal 1973, que están recogidas en tres volúmenes en esta reedición, con imágenes incluidas. Este trabajo no pretende de ningún modo ser exhaustivo.
