Abstract
En 1967, en collaboration avec l’A.U.C.C., la S.H.C. organisait à l’occasion du centenaire du Canada cinq séminaires dont le thème était Le régionalisme et la communauté canadienne.\nLors du séminaire tenu à Victoria, un membre de la délégation de l’University of Toronto demanda à l’un des organisateurs, Monsieur Geoffroy Andrew, quel était le but d’un tel\nséminaire et il reçut cette réponse:\n“C’est de faire sortir de Toronto les gens .\ncomme vous et de vous amener à comprendre que le Canada, ce n’est pas que l’Ontario et que dans l’histoire du Canada, il n’y a pas que la version torontoise qui vaille”.
