Abstract
Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm xác định loại hóa chất và thuốc được sử dụng trong các ao nuôi cá tra thâm canh ở tỉnh Đồng Tháp, Việt Nam. Hiện trạng sử dụng thuốc và hoá chất được thu thập thông qua phỏng vấn 30 hộ nuôi cá tra ở huyện Châu Thành, tỉnh Đồng Tháp. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy có 17 loại hóa chất được sử dụng để xử lý môi trường ao nuôi, 19 sản phẩm thuốc dùng để phòng và trị bệnh cho cá, 18 loại chất bổ sung chất dinh dưỡng và chế phẩm sinh học được sử dụng trong một vụ nuôi. Trong đó có Enrofloxacine là kháng sinh cấm sử dụng được sử dụng phổ biến (70% số hộ khảo sát sử dụng) và 10 loại kháng sinh hạn chế sử dụng trong nuôi trồng thủy sản theo TT 03/2012/BNNPTNT như amoxicilin, trimethoprime, ciprofloxacin, oxytetracycline, florfenicol,... cũng được sử dụng rộng rãi. Nguồn gốc và liều lượng sử dụng thuốc chưa được kiểm soát chặt chẽ và thường được sử dụng liều lượng cao hơn so với hướng dẫn dựa vào kinh nghiệm của cá nhân người nuôi. Điều này có thể dẫn đến phát sinh nhiều bệnh trên cá và khả năng kháng các loại kháng sinh của cá. Ngoài ra, kết quả ghi nhận, chi phí đầu tư cho thuốc và hoá chất sử dụng trong một vụ nuôi chiếm 3,46% tổng chi phí và hầu hết các hộ nuôi được phỏng vấn (96,7%; n=30) có khu vực riêng để chứa thuốc, hóa chất và thức ăn cho cá. Qua kết quả khảo sát cho thấy các hộ nuôi cá tra trong vùng nghiên cứu vẫn còn hạn chế thông tin trong việc sử dụnghóa chất, liều lượng thích hợp, sự cẩn thận trong phương phápvàcách sử dụng cácchất hóa học.
