A tradução feminista no Canadá e as teorias pós-coloniais : uma influência recíproca?

Abstract
Através da análise e tradução de alguns trabalhos de tradutoras feministas canadenses, como Barbara Godard e Sherry Simon, desenvolvemos duas vias de pesquisa: a primeira, em que examinamos como suas teorias sobre subjetividade e produção vieram da prática literária da écriture féminine; a segunda, na qual propomos que as vozes feministas estavam ecoando, nos Estudos de Tradução, vozes pós-coloniais que surgiam simultaneamente a elas. Pretendemos mostrar que, no contexto político e cultural do Canadá, e mais precisamente do Quebec, vozes feministas forneceram um prolegômeno da teoria da liberação para o sujeito feminino e pós-colonial em relação à hegemonia masculina nas instituições literárias.
