Abstract
Досліджується роль періодичних видань у суспільно–культурному та національно–політичному житті українських емігрантів. Основна увага акцентується на дослідженні діяльності «Канадійського фармера» та «Свободи» у період Першої світової війни та Української революції 1917– 1921 рр. Зосереджено увагу на розкритті змісту опублікованих матеріалів видань. Простежується ставлення української спільноти США і Канади до подій на території України.
