Abstract
April 22 is Earth Day, a day designated to recognize the environmental movement started in 1970.Each year Earth Day is celebrated with events geared toward environmental awareness.Washington State University Vancouver is the site of two such events."An Evening with Denis Hayes" hosted by The Fort Vancouver Regional Library District's "Forum at the Library" and WSU Vancouver takes place Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Student Services Lecture Hall.A leader in energy conservation, Hayes is a co-founder of Earth Day, chair of the Earth Day Network, president of the Bullitt Foundation and chair of the Energy Foundation's Board of Directors.He is also a graduate of Who to CallMaster's in Business Administration Information Night --Tuesday, May 24 at 6 p.m.
