Abstract
У статті здійснюється історично-педагогічний аналіз становлення та розвитку української педагогічної періодики в Канаді, її ролі у системі українознавчої освіти та виховання українських канадців у другій половині ХХ та на початку ХХІ століття, її значення в підвищенні професійної компетентності освітян у мультикультурному середовищі Канади. \nThe article deals with the historically-pedagogical analysis of settling and developing of Ukrainian pedagogical periodicals in Canada, its role in the system of Ukrainian studies and education of Ukrainian Canadians at the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th century, its significance for advancing educationalists’ professional competence in multicultural environment of Canada. \nВ статье проводится историко-педагогический анализ становления и развития украинской педагогической периодики в Канаде, ее \nроли в системе украиноведческого образования и воспитания украинских канадцев во второй половине ХХ и в начале ХХI столетия, \nее значение в повышении профессиональной компетентности педагогов в мультикультурной среде Канады.
