Abstract
Cette thèse étudie trois auteurs contemporains immigrés au Québec. Romancières blessées par le nazisme et le communisme, elles tentent de livrer une écriture vivante : pour Alice Parizeau, le moteur de son écriture est l'engagement anticommuniste ; pour Tecia Werbowski, la force vive de son écriture est la quête de la résolution traumatique ; pour Régine Robin, la ligne directrice de son œuvre est la recherche d'une nouvelle esthétique dans la représentation de la Shoah. Elles déploient, dans leur univers littéraire, une mémoire de la destruction qui a spécifiquement eu lieu en Europe. Ainsi, cette mémoire, mise en scène dans leurs fictions, heurte celle du Québec par sa profonde différence. La création d'un courant littéraire d'écriture migrante ne peut résoudre à elle seule une question fondamentale : que doit faire le Québec d'une mémoire importée qui n'est pas historiquement la sienne ? C'est en cela que l'écriture migrante est porteuse de bien des paradoxes.
