Aujourd'hui, les circuits d'adaptation d'impédance et de filtrage micro-ondes sont communément constitués par des sections uniformes de lignes de transmission. Leur utilisation dans la conception des circuits intégrés présente une limitation due aux dimensions physiques énormes et aux effets parasites introduits par les discontinuités de la surface conductrice. Afin d'améliorer les performances des circuits d'adaptation, il est recommandé d'utiliser les lignes de transmission non uniformes dans la conception de ces circuits. En dépit de multiples avantages qu'offrent les lignes de transmission non uniforme leur utilisation reste limitée, due principalement à l'absence d'une technique puissante de conception et de modèle des lignes de transmission à formes arbitraires intégrées dans des simulateurs. \n \nNous avons intégré une technique numérique basée sur la méthode des moments, pour la simulation d'une ligne à formes arbitraires. Cette technique nous a permis d'explorer les performances et les caractéristiques des nouvelles lignes non uniformes. Ces nouvelles lignes constituent les solutions de base de départ pour diverse application. La conception pour la première fois à notre connaissance à l'aide de modèles implantés dans le simulateur «HP-ADS», des nouvelles topologies des transformateurs d'impédance et des structures de filtrage large bande plus performante que les topologies conventionnelles. \n \nAfin de réaliser notre objectif, nous avons développé et codé en C++ dans un premier temps, la méthode des moments pour l'analyse des lignes à formes arbitraires. Un grand effort a été consacré à la vérification des résultats de simulation obtenus pour des modèles variés. La précision des résultats d'analyses a été vérifiée par comparaison aux résultats de simulation obtenus par les logiciels commerciaux «HP-ADS» et «Momentum» et des publications. \n \n
