Comment la pratique de la médecine légale est-elle organisée ? Quelles normes structurent cette pratique ? Dans ce mémoire, nous tentons de répondre à ces questions à travers l’analyse des données récoltées par l’observation de la pratique de la médecine légale en Belgique et en Ontario. En abordant la question sous l’éclairage du concept de norme suivant les catégories développées par Monjardet, nous mettons en évidence la manière dont la présence où l’absence de normes d’un certain niveau peut avoir des conséquences très concrètes sur une pratique professionnelle rarement mise sous la loupe en Belgique.
