Abstract
Così come gli studi di genere sono multi- e interdisciplinari, anche la violenza di genere non può essere trattata come una questione isolata dal resto né da un punto di vista mono-disciplinare. Attraverso questo elaborato si cercherà dunque di allargare i confini, affrontando le tematiche di genere da diverse prospettive e accennando a diversi campi che sono coinvolti dalla questione della violenza di genere. L’elaborato, pertanto, si focalizzerà in primis sulle pluralità di violenze esistenti e i traumi ad esse correlati, con particolare attenzione alla necessità di un’educazione su ciò che è bene accettare nelle relazioni e ciò che non si dovrebbe tollerare, e segnalando sia gli impatti negativi sulla società, sia i risultati positivi di una gestione ponderata della situazione suggerendo alcuni dei supporti efficienti che si possono offrire a chi subisce violenza. Il primo capitolo è seguito dalla proposta di traduzione dal francese in italiano di un corso canadese online sulla violenza a sfondo sessuale offerto dall’Università di Montréal. Il terzo capitolo verte invece sugli aspetti problematici riscontrati nella traduzione del testo e sulle strategie e soluzioni adottate. Il linguaggio utilizzato per la stesura dell’elaborato è inclusivo e non sessista.
