Abstract
El presente proyecto, orientado a describir el DISEÑO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UN SISTEMA DE CONTROL AUTOMÁTICO PARA LA MÁQUINA PURIFICADORA DE ACEITE WSK KRAKOW DE LAVAL, TIPO MPAX 207 - 24S DE LA CENTRAL TÉRMICA GUANGOPOLO TERMOPICHINCHA, se ha desarrollado dirigido a la implementación y puesta \nen marcha del sistema mediante la descripción de las metodologías y técnicas \nempleadas para la elaboración específica del mismo. Se ha realizado el estudio \nde la máquina y así comprender el proceso y operación que esta posee. \nAdicionalmente, se complementa con el estudio de ingeniería para el \ndimensionamiento de los elementos del sistema de control y los planos de \ninterconexión de los dispositivos usados. El proyecto contiene el desarrollo del \nprograma del controlador e interfaz de usuario, así como también el montaje \nmecánico y eléctrico. \nEl proyecto es un sistema programable y cumple con los requerimientos \nespecíficos de la máquina. Así, también es robusto y se ajusta al proceso de \nforma adecuada, que mediante la coordinación de software y hardware se \nconsigue el control total de la máquina con un monitoreo en línea de las \nprincipales variables de proceso. La variedad de características usadas en el \npresente proyecto esta enfocado solo para el tipo de máquina descrita en el \nproyecto, limitación que no permite ser usado en otro tipo de máquina \npurificadora. \nEl proyecto es adecuado para su implementación debido a que \ntécnicamente es viable por las ventajas de operación y supervisión en línea. \nAdicionalmente, es económicamente rentable debido a que su costo beneficio \nestá básicamente en evitar el desperdicio de aceite lubricante en el proceso
