Abstract
En el presente artículo el autor toma encuenta el poder que tiene el consumidor así como su capacidad para poder elegir personalmente lo que satisface de mejor manera sus intereses. Igualmente se presentan supuestos en los que el CODECO funciona en conjunto con la regulación aplicable a INDECOPI y a la Superintendencia de Banca ySeguros. Principalmente se menciona un error del legislador al intentar expandir desmesuradamente el ámbito de aplicación el Código en cuestión, generando así deficiencias en el mismo.
