Abstract
El presente trabajo discute la relación de las masas de\\nagua del Atlántico norte y su concentración de aluminio\\ndisuelto a partir de estaciones muestreadas en margen\\neste del Odano Atlántico Norte. En aguas superficiales\\nlas distribuciones están controladas por las entradas\\neólicas, el grado de estraüficación y la producción bioló-\\ngica. Las variaciones espaciales y temporales del metal\\nson el reflejo de estas variables. En aguas intermedias y\\nprofundas las concentraciones presentan una clara relación\\ncon el lugar de formación y tiempo de tr&nsito de las\\nmasas Ue agua. Este es el caso del Agua Mediterránea\\n(MW) y el Agua del Mar del Labrador (LSW). En aguas\\npróximas al fondo y en zonas de alta energía próximas a\\nla plataforma, las concentraciones de aluminio parecen\\nafectadas por la disolución de los sedimentos.
