L'assenza di norme di diritto internazionale privato dirette ad individuare in maniera specifica entro il sistema italiano la legge applicabile ai contratti di factoring internazionale pone il problema di considerare le conseguenze dell'operatività in ordine agli stessi della disciplina di diritto internazionale privato generalmente prevista in materia di contratti internazionali. Il saggio analizza tali problemi con un ampio inquadramento sistematico, considerando anche il coordinamento con le Convenzioni di diritto uniforme quale ad es. la Convenzione di Ottawa del 28.5.1988 sul factoring internazionale in vigore anche per l'Italia.
